Love Minnesota Hate Winter

Minnesota is one of the most beautiful states in the US.  My spouse and I have traveled all over and few other places offer the beautiful landscapes that we have here along with sunsets, sunrises, fishing, camping, riding bikes, state parks, and about a billion other things.  One thing I don’t like is how long the winters seem to last.

This year is no different than any other year with winter starting out with bitter cold temps.  I think people who live in other states would have a tough grasp as to what 40 degrees below zero windchill feels like.  I would describe it to be a bit like this. Snot freezes in your mustache.  Your breathing causes your scarf and glasses to frost up.  Fingers and toes start to ache like when you grab a hot pan from the oven without an oven glove and your eye lashes freeze to your forehead.

Now if only they would invent space suites for winter use!
