In a quiet neighborhood in Maplewood MN a father accidentally drives over his almost 2 year old son with his SUV. The child was playing with his 8 year old brother when he was struck shortly after noon sunday (Feb 22, 2010). According to Deputy Chief there was no indication that the father was driving recklessly. Paramedics drive son to Hospital in St. Paul, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Since I have children of my own I am only saddened after hearing about this incident. One minute your child is playing and the next they are gone!
